About My Gates

There is a growing demand for gates made from aluminium due to its durability, lightweight properties and aesthetically pleasing finish. People are wanting aluminium gates for a number of purposes including: Security, privacy, keeping pets and children safe within the property or just to enhance the front of their property.

We specialise in custom made residential aluminium gates that will fit perfectly into the space you have. Nothing is off the shelf or cut down to make fit. We will tackle the tricky jobs that some others may pass by. We love to be creative with what we do and pride ourselves on excellence and like to ensure that our clients are very happy with the finished result.

Gate Styles

We make a full range of different styles of gates. We make Standard, Slat, Louvred and Rural style gates.

We also make specialty decorative gates with laser cut panels inserted into the gates. These panels can be made from any design you wish. They can be created from your own designs or photographs or from our own library of designs. These panels can also be used on there own to create beautiful screens anywhere you wish.

Types of Gates

*Double swing gates: These can be symmetrical ie: half and half or different proportions 2/3 – 1/3 or 3/4 – 1/4 etc. Mounted on plate hinges with adjustable sockets

* Single swing: Mounted on plate hinges with adjustable sockets

* Sliding gates: Roll on low profile track via recessed wheels

* Pedestrian gates: Comes standard with self closing hinges and a key lockable latch.

The Process ~ From Idea to Installation

We offer a simple 3 step process which on average is around 3 -4 weeks from receiving your deposit until the gate is installed. This can be much sooner sometimes and also a little more given certain conditions.

Step One:

Enquiry.

You want a gate, hear about our services and get in touch via email or call my cellphone. At this stage some people like to send all the relevant information and photos via email or just simply make contact to talk through ideas.

Site Visit or Estimated Pricing.

Once contact is made we organise a time to meet you on site to discuss your ideas or offer inspiration with suggestions that would work and look good.

Alternatively, you can send photos, approximate measurements, style and type of gate plus any other relevant information. If the photos are clear and it looks relatively straight forward we can give an estimated price from the information provided in the email.

When we know what you want we send out our quotation or estimate with a copy of our terms and conditions.

Of course, before we finalise our quote we make absolutely certain that our design is exactly what you want.

Once you accept the final quote and our T's & C's, and we have received your 50% deposit we are ready to move on to...

Step Two:

Manufacture

Firstly, we check our stock for your materials and if needs be, order in from our suppliers.

If posts are required, these are powdercoated to the colour of your choice.

Once the posts are installed we return to site to take final, accurate measurements.

At this time we begin manufacture and once complete send the gates off to be powdercoated and returned to us.

It is now time to arrange a suitable time with you to move on to the next step...

Step Three:

Installation

When we have arranged a suitable date for work to begin we show up and do the work! One point to note is that we will need access to power if no one is home.

We pride ourselves on working in an efficient, timely and tidy manner.

Once you gates are installed to your satisfaction your remaining balance is payable within 7 days.

If you are having your gates automated we work with a number of specialists in this area. With your permission we pass your details on and can certainly liaise between you both. Alternatively you can contact them directly if you prefer.

Points to Note:

The process from start to finish dependent on factors such as:

Availability of materials
Current workload
Length of time required at the powdercoating plant
Weather restrictions
Any hold ups by other outsourced contractors such as groundworks

On average the process is around 3 -4 weeks from the time I receive the 50% deposit until the gate is installed. This can be much sooner sometimes and also a little more given the above.
