How your information is collected and used when you contact Jules through this website.
This policy explains how Jules Makes Gates collects and uses personal information through julesmakesgates.co.nz, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or register as a trade partner, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, location, details of your project or business, and any photos you attach.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, prepare quotes, arrange measuring, building, delivery and installation, and, for trade partners, to talk about working together and to refer customers. We don’t sell your information. We only share it with people needed to do the job you’ve asked for, such as the gate-automation electrician or an installer in your region, and we’ll let you know before we do.
How it’s stored
Enquiries are emailed to us and kept in the website’s admin area so none go missing. Photos are resized, emailed to us and then deleted from the website. They aren’t published or stored on the site.
Website analytics
If website analytics is switched on, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed. Google Analytics uses cookies and does not tell us who you are.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@julesmakesgates.co.nz or calling 021 205 7752. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
