Traditional timber farm gates don’t last forever, because timber warps and twists over time. Jules replicates the classic braced farm gate in aluminium, so it works well and looks right in a rural setting. Powder-coated aluminium needs little looking after beyond an occasional wash.

What if there is no power at the gate?
Solar-powered openers are an option for many gates, especially on rural properties where running power to the gate would be expensive.
Can my gate be automated?
Yes. Jules builds sliding and swing gates ready for automation and works with an experienced gate-automation electrician who fits the opener. He will pass on your details and liaise for you.
What colours can I choose?
Gates and panels are powder coated, and there are many colours to choose from. Charcoal, black and white are common, and colours can be matched to your joinery or fence.
How long does a custom gate take?
On average about 3 to 4 weeks from the 50% deposit to installation. It can be as short as 2 weeks, or a little longer, depending on materials, workload, powder coating and the weather. Jules will give you a timeframe with your quote.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. There's a 5-year warranty on workmanship. Materials aren't covered.
